Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS), an independent insurance-company/" style="color:#c0392b;font-weight:700;text-decoration:underline;" class="hta-topic-link">insurance company manager, has appointed Chris Terry as Managing Director and Head of Alternative Risk Transfer (ART) and Risk Strategy, with his appointment due to take effect on 19 April 2027.
The move forms part of SRS’ ongoing efforts to expand its risk advisory services, with a focus on structured re/insurance, alternative risk transfer and risk consulting for organisations with complex insurance and risk-financing requirements.
Terry will join SRS from Allianz Commercial, where he held the position of Global Head of Underwriting for ART. A qualified actuary, he has built up considerable experience in the re/insurance sector, with expertise spanning technical underwriting, commercial decision-making and relationships across the international market.
In his new role, Terry will work with Derek Bridgeman, Managing Director of European Risk Consulting at SRS, and the SRS Europe leadership team to develop the firm’s risk advisory offering and support clients seeking independent guidance on risk-financing strategies. He will take over responsibility for existing structured re/insurance advisory client relationships, ensuring continuity of service following Neil Campbell’s five years leading this area of the business. Terry will also work with SRS Titanium clients requiring specialist support with the structuring of risk solutions.
Bridgeman commented: “On a personal level, I am delighted that Chris is joining SRS. We have worked together on several transactions over the years, and I know firsthand the expertise, insight, and energy he will bring.”
He further added: “Chris’s decision to join SRS reflects the differentiated advisory platform we have built and the continued demand we see from complex multinational organisations seeking independent advice on risk financing. I would also like to recognise Neil Campbell for the outstanding contribution he has made over the last five years.
“Kathryn Anderson [Director of European Consulting], the wider team, and I have learned so much from Neil and remain hugely grateful for the support, guidance, and friendship he has shared. We are very much looking forward to welcoming Chris to SRS and working alongside him as we continue to grow and strengthen our business globally.”
