Artificial intelligence underwriting company Sixfold has partnered with Munich Re to integrate its technology into the reinsurer’s cloud-based automated underwriting platform, Realytix Zero.
The integration, now live, enables Realytix Zero users to incorporate Sixfold’s submission risk analysis directly into their products.
This creates a complete, AI-driven workflow within the Realytix Zero platform, allowing insurers to design, build, launch and scale fully digital underwriting products and workflows without the need for extensive IT resources.
As submissions enter the workflow, Linqu analyzes the material, enriches it with external and third-party data, and highlights key risk signals and insights that match the insurer’s specific risk appetite.
“Appetite fit” scores help teams immediately prioritize submissions, while AI agents support underwriting decisions by streamlining steps such as recommendations.
Realytix Zero then enhances execution capabilities by automating the complete rate, quote and tie process, pre-populating risk data and enabling underwriters to analyze, adjust and price risk to issue a quote, tie or reject. With Realytix Zero, underwriters can also manage referrals, endorsements and renewals.
“Our partnership with Sixfold reflects the direction in which underwriting technology is heading,” said Florian Niklas, co-founder of Realytix Zero and head of underwriting technology at Munich Re.
He added: “By combining Realytix Zero’s product development and workbench capabilities with Sixfold’s risk analytics, insurers can bring products to market quickly, reduce manual review, and make underwriting decisions faster and more consistently. Sixfold has built a strong reputation in the market and understands the complexities of underwriting, which is why we are excited about this partnership.”
Roger Ferrandis, director of partnerships at Sixfold, said: “Insurers around the world use Realytix Zero to run their underwriting workflows. Bringing Sixfold into this environment enables underwriters to review submissions faster while maintaining high-quality risk selection and a healthy portfolio. Sixfold is designed to integrate with the systems underwriters already use, and this partnership is a great example of that.”
By integrating submission intake, analysis and underwriting decision support into a unified workflow, these platforms enable teams to publish quotes faster.
This streamlined process reduces the need for manual reviews without compromising underwriting quality.
