RMA, Inc. appoints MacKenzie as President, Myles to retire

RMA, Inc., a member company of North American large project management operating company Starwind Specialty, has appointed Rob MacKenzie as President, effective July 6, 2026.

In her new role, McKenzie succeeds Claire Myles, who, after a distinguished career spanning three decades, has transitioned into an advisory role to support a seamless transition of leadership.

Under MacKenzie’s leadership, RMA will continue to focus on sustainable growth, innovation and pursuing opportunities in emerging and underserved markets.

Additionally, he will lead RMA’s diverse operations and support the organization’s long-term strategic goals.

Most recently, McKenzie served as head of the Canadian life and health division of a global reinsurance company and chief agent for the company’s Canadian arm. In this role, he had overall responsibility for the Canadian Reinsurance business, including strategy, operations, finance and market leadership.

He has over twenty years of international experience in direct insurance, reinsurance and consulting in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom and Australia.

In the past, McKenzie has led product development, pricing, valuation and business development initiatives in the individual, group insurance and pension markets.
