Bermuda-based global reinsurer PartnerRe has announced the appointments of Erik Rüttener as interim head of vintage and international, Olivia Bishop as global head of Cat, CUO and North America, and Carlo Casty as head of Cat modeling.
Rüttener joined Partner Re nearly two decades ago and brings extensive industry experience to his new role. He began his tenure with the company as Director of Catastrophe Research and was appointed CUO, Deputy Head of Catastrophe Reinsurance in 2011.
Bishop has been with the company for 16 years, joining from Sirius International where he was AVP (Underwriter). During her time with the company, she also served as Vice President – Senior Underwriter and Specialty Catastrophe Leader.
Casty is a seasoned industry veteran with 18 years at Partner Re, joining the firm in 2008 as a risk specialist. He has since held a variety of roles, most recently as Head of Catastrophe Risk Modeling for EMEA and Asia Pacific.
