Novatae Risk Group (Novatae), the wholesale insurance business of World Insurance Associates, has announced the appointment of Brian Voorhees as Managing Director (MD) of Personal Lines.
In his new role, Voorhees will lead Novatae’s personal lines business and be responsible for setting strategic direction, driving growth and delivering strong operational and financial results. He will oversee the expansion of product offerings, strengthen carrier and broker partnerships, and guide the development of underwriting and placement capabilities to support scalable, client-focused growth.
Voorhees has more than 15 years of insurance industry experience spanning underwriting, business development, product management and operational leadership.
Most recently, he was responsible for the day-to-day operations of Applied Home National Underwriters, where he was responsible for leading underwriting strategy, growth initiatives, broker relations and the national team supporting the high-net-worth market.
Prior to that, Voorhees served as vice president of business development for National General.
Earlier in his career, he held leadership positions at ACE Private Risk Services and Chubb Personal Insurance. He began his career as a personal and commercial insurance agent with SASCO Insurance.
