MISSION, the MGA Capital Partner, has launched Trevanti, a specialist surety managing general agent (MGA) based in France, led by Jean Lowe as CEO.

As the company’s first MGA in Continental Europe, this launch marks an important milestone in MISSION’s international expansion and further strengthens its growing portfolio of specialist underwriting businesses.

Ross Dingwall, CEO of MISSION International, said: “Europe is primed for growth in the MGA market. Many product lines and distribution channels remain fractured across European markets, creating opportunities for specialist MGAs to deliver tailored propositions. As our first MGA in Continental Europe, Trevanti highlights the growing appeal of our platform for underwriters looking to build high-quality businesses.”

Built by a team of experienced surety specialists, Trevanti aims to streamline broker access across a fragmented marketplace.

The MGA will provide a single entry point for a broad range of surety products, integrating standard construction bonds with niche commercial, legal, and regulatory bond classes that often lack adequate market coverage.

Trevanti’s CEO Lowe commented: “France is one of Europe’s largest and most resilient surety markets, but brokers still face unnecessary complexity by having to navigate multiple providers when placing business across different bond classes.

“Trevanti will address that challenge directly by bringing together experienced underwriting, broad product knowledge and fast decision-making in one place. By combining our expertise with MISSION’s infrastructure, we will deliver the responsive, disciplined underwriting that brokers need.”

Adama Samake will support Lowe as Head of Surety Underwriting. Samake has over three decades of experience in underwriting, distribution, and product development, including senior roles at CEGC/Natixis and Atradius.

Trevanti will focus on a comprehensive suit of construction bond products, encompassing bid and tender, performance and completion, advance payment, and retention and maintenance bonds.

Additionally, its commercial and specialist bond offering will include cover for regulated professionals, legal and customs requirements, environmental and agricultural guarantees, and import and export.
