Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage and risk advisor Aon has announced the appointment of Mez Patel as global head of sales for Aon Credit Solutions.
In his new role, Patel will help global multinational clients address complex risk challenges.
He will be responsible for designing innovative, structured solutions involving trade credit, political risk, contingent liabilities and guarantees.
Patel brings two decades of experience in trade credit insurance and strategic sales leadership, with expertise in building and underwriting customized solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises, mid-market companies and multinational corporations.
He joins Aon after nearly 19 years at Allianz, where he held a number of senior leadership roles including New Business Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts (Broker Channel), Regional Sales Manager (South) – UK & Ireland and most recently Regional Sales Director – Allianz Trade for Multinationals.
