Independent insurance broker Lockton has appointed Alberto Ferriolo as regional growth head for Asia maritime and transport based in Singapore.
In his new role, Ferriolo will lead portfolio and revenue growth in the region, working closely with the broker’s country leaders to develop cross-border opportunities and enhance cargo and commodity trading capabilities.
He has over nine years of international insurance experience in European and Asian markets, with expertise in ocean freight, logistics and global supply chain risks.
Most recently, Ferriolo worked as a cargo production broker at Miller Insurance Services. In the past, he worked at broker Aon as an account manager responsible for marine insurance solutions for the grains, metals and energy business, with a focus on cargo/CL and FDD.
Earlier in his career, Ferriolo served as Business Development Manager at Coyote Logistics, Assistant Sales Manager at Golden Agri-Resources (GAR), and Account Manager and Ocean Freight Broker at Aon.
