Kevin Rampe has been named Chubb Group senior vice president and global claims officer, effective immediately, with responsibility for global claims management while retaining his responsibilities as head of claims for North America.
In his expanded role, the executive will lead the company’s claims organization around the world and be responsible for all aspects of Chubb’s executive claims management, servicing and administration through its global network of claims offices.
He will report to Evan G. Greenberg, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Chubb Limited and Chubb Group, and John Keogh, President and Chief Operating Officer of Chubb Group.
In North America, he will report to Juan Luis Ortega, Chubb Group’s executive vice president and president of North America Insurance.

Rampe joined Chubb in 2005 as the company’s global compliance officer. He subsequently served as North America general counsel and global deputy general counsel, and in 2021 was named head of claims, North America.
Rampe’s early career included several key positions in New York State government. He served as First Deputy Superintendent of the New York State Department of Insurance and as First Assistant Counsel to New York Governor George E. Pataki.
Additionally, he serves as president and chairman of the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC).
