Jeffrey Loop appointed AXA XL’s Head of Media Liability

AXA XL, the property and casualty division of global insurance company AXA Group, announced the appointment of Jeffrey L. Loop as its new head of media liability.

Based in Los Angeles, Loop will report to Michelle Chia, chief underwriting, network, design and selection professional.

In his new role, Loop will lead AXA XL in creating comprehensive, innovative coverage solutions designed to address the increasingly complex and expanding media risk environment.

His primary focus is developing tailored policies for diverse clients, including content creators, digital-first businesses, and brands adopting content marketing techniques.

The executive brings more than two decades of legal and industry expertise with a deep understanding of media, privacy, intellectual property and technology law.

He has extensive experience in underwriting and risk management, with a particular focus on the dynamic media sector.

Additionally, Loop has a proven track record of advising digital media companies, deftly managing complex claims, and pioneering innovative legal strategies.
