After its all-stars spin-off gave us one of the most talked-about reality TV moments of the year so far, I’m A Celebrity bosses look set to pull out all of the stops when it comes to the upcoming season.

With weeks to go until a new crop of famous faces set up camp Down Under, rumours have been coming in thick and fast about which stars could be taking part in the new series.

ITV is playing down the ongoing reports in the tabloid press as “just speculation”, but if the rumours do turn out to be true, we’re looking at a strong line-up of A-listers from across the world of music, sport, TV and beyond.

Here’s a quick guide to all of the stars tipped to be taking part in I’m A Celebrity this year…

Wayne Rooney

Alright, let’s start with the biggie.

Wayne Rooney’s wife Coleen made it all the way to the I’m A Celebrity final back in 2024, and it looks like the former England captain himself now fancies a go at the jungle himself.

In September, The Sun reported that Wayne could be about to become the long-running ITV reality show’s “biggest ever signing”, after entering “advanced talks” with producers.

This comes after he and Coleen appeared in their own Disney+ reality show, The Real Rooneys, with the striker also poised to appear in his own series, Can You Beat Wayne Rooney?, with the streaming service.

Days before Wayne was mentioned as a potential I’m A Celebrity campmate, The Sun also reported that Jesy Nelson had been in “a string of meetings about landing a six-figure deal” to join the cast.

Since her rise to fame, she’s fronted her own documentaries about online bullying and mental health, with the tabloid’s “source” claiming she hoped to use a stint in the jungle “to raise awareness around SMA”, a condition with which her twin daughters were diagnosed in 2025.

AJ Odudu

With her Big Brother co-host Will Best currently involved in this year’s run of Strictly Come Dancing, AJ Odudu is seemingly also eyeing a spot on one of telly’s most popular reality shows.

The Sun reported at the beginning of September that AJ had made it clear to I’m A Celebrity bosses that she was “keen as mustard” to sign up, five years after her own time on Strictly was cut short days before the final due to an injury.

I’m A Celebrity begins shortly after the ongoing series of Big Brother comes to an end, meaning the presenter will be free to fly to Australia before filming gets underway.

Ricky Wilson

Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson has reportedly been on I’m A Celebrity bosses’ wishlist “for years” – and it seems that they’ve finally managed to snag him.

According to The Sun’s “source”, Ricky had “always politely declined” whenever I’m A Celebrity bosses came calling, but had a change of heart in 2026, and has “finally given in”.

Besides his work with the Kaiser Chiefs, Ricky spent three years as a judge on The Voice UK during its time on the BBC, and has also guest hosted The One Show and appeared as a celebrity expert on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel.

Joanna Page

Back in the summer, Joanna Page was another star The Sun reported to be in “advanced talks” about an appearance on I’m A Celebrity.

While best known for her work as the female lead in Gavin & Stacey, Joanna has also appeared in Love Actually, competed on Taskmaster and presented both Loose Women and her BBC podcast Off The Telly.

Nadiya Bychkova

Speaking of Strictly, long-serving professional Nadiya Bychkova has repeatedly been mentioned as a campmate on the new season of I’m A Celebrity.

Following her much-publicised exit from Strictly’s on-screen professional line-up in March, The Sun claimed months later that the Ukrainian performer was at the “top [of] ITV execs’ wish list” now her winter schedule was no longer full.

A number of her Strictly peers have been on I’m A Celebrity after leaving the ballroom, including Vincent Simone, Camilla Dallerup, Ola Jordan, AJ Pritchard, Dame Arlene Phillips and Oti Mabuse.

Ade Adepitan

In July, The Sun suggested that Ade Adepitan could be about to become the first I’m A Celebrity star to enter the camp in a wheelchair.

The Paralympian and TV personality was said to have entered “talks” with ITV about signing up for I’m A Celebrity, with bosses “keen to make it work” and “looking at ways to adapt the camp to make it work for Ade”.

Last year, he tested his limits as part of the cast of another star-studded reality series, Shark! Celebrity Infested Waters.

Su-Elise Nash

Mis-Teeq star Su-Elise Nash was also said to be at the centre of “early talks” about a spot on the upcoming I’m A Celebrity line-up.

Su-Elise recently reunited with her bandmates Sabrina Washington and Alesha Dixon for a sold-out Mis-Teeq reunion show at Wembley Arena, which was followed by some major drama in the press amid conflicting reports about which members of the group wanted to carry on as a band.

Her bandmate Sabrina Washington previously competed on I’m A Celebrity in 2009, with The Sun noting that Su-Elise was also close to signing up in the 2000s, but eventually turned the show down.

Chloe Burrows

No I’m A Celebrity line-up in its current era is complete without a former Love Island star, and this year’s appears to be Chloe Burrows.

The Sun reported in late August that Chloe had “met with I’m A Celeb bosses several times recently”.

Sharmarke ‘Sharky’ Mohamud

After reigning King Of The Jungle Morgan Burtwistle, known to his followers as AngryGinge, triumphed in last year’s series, it seems I’m A Celebrity is keen to keep the influencers, streamers and social media personalities coming into camp.

In August, The Sun alleged that YouTube personality Sharmarke ‘Sharky’ Mohamud was “in talks” for I’m A Celebrity, in his first major move into mainstream TV.

Known primarily for his prank videos and collabs with members of the group known as the Beta Squad (which also includes Celebrity Traitors stars Niko Omilana and Kenny Oghenovo Ojuederie), Sharky has more than a million followers on YouTube, and even more on TikTok.

Before you read any further on this one, we’re just going to warn you not to get your hopes up.

Unfortunately, you see, former Loose Women star Denise Welch will seemingly not be taking part in I’m A Celebrity this year, after being put off by all the drama that arose during the show’s All Stars run back in April.

The Sun reported in July that Denise had been “high on the producers’ hit list of dream campmates”, but after several meetings with producers, was seemingly too concerned about “a repeat of last year”.

Denise – who has also competed on shows like Dancing On Ice and Celebrity Big Brother, which she won in 2012 – recently stepped away from Loose Women to focus on her acting career.

Sir Christopher Dean

Olympic gold medallist and former Dancing On Ice judge Sir Christopher Dean as reported in July to be in consideration for the new season of I’m A Celebrity.

Instead, though, the ice dancer and his partner (and former Dancing On Ice co-star) Karen Barber are reported by The Sun to be involved in the show’s new spin-off The Wild Frontier.

Similar to the BBC’s Celebrity Race Across The World, I’m A Celebrity: The Wild Frontier will see pairs of famous faces living in the Canadian wilderness while taking on a variety of gruelling trials and challenges.
