ICG hires Luke Schlafly as Global Head of Insurance Client Solutions

Alternative asset management specialist ICG has appointed Luke Schlafly as global head of insurance for its Client Solutions Group (CSG), reporting to global head of CSG Alan Isenberg.

In his new role, Schlafly’s primary focus will be on strengthening ICG’s global insurance relationships and creating tailored solutions to meet the changing needs of the industry.

Isenberg commented: “We are delighted to welcome Luke to ICG. His hiring demonstrates our commitment to building a top-tier insurance client business, given the natural fit between our investment strategy and this important client base.”

The executive has more than 16 years of global asset management experience and extensive expertise servicing insurance companies.

He most recently served as Managing Director and Global Head of Insurance Investment Solutions at PineBridge Investments, where he was responsible for leading the company’s global insurance business and delivering strategic solutions to a diverse client base in the space.

Prior to joining PineBridge Investments, Schlafly held senior positions at Deutsche Asset Management, where he focused on developing investment strategies for insurance clients in the United States and Canada.
