Global re/insurance brokerage group Gallagher has announced the integration of the AssuredPartners aerospace and aerospace team into its global aerospace business, creating a global unit of nearly 600 dedicated risk professionals.
The integration creates a combined U.S. team of 190 aerospace colleagues across 10 locations.
Eric Barfield, who previously led AssuredPartners’ aerospace business, has been named president to lead the new combined U.S. general aviation team.
Barfield and his colleagues will work alongside Gallagher’s large and complex venture aviation team in the US, which continues to grow under US CEO Steve Lloyd. Both will report to Gallagher Aerospace global CEO Peter Elson.
Tyler LaMantia, who previously led Gallagher’s U.S. general aviation team, will refocus on his expanding responsibilities as head of Gallagher’s San Diego operations.
The global business is headquartered in London, with an additional 400 employees at centers in Europe, North America, Latin America, the Middle East and Africa, covering expertise in all aspects of the aerospace industry.

Gallagher completed the acquisition of AssuredPartners, a US insurance brokerage company, in August 2025. Previously, the agreement was first announced in December 2024 and was worth $13.45 billion.
