DXC Technology introduces Assure Smart Apps to accelerate insurers’ digital transformation

Global technology services provider DXC Technology has launched its new Assure smart application based on ServiceNow, designed to help insurance companies accelerate their AI-driven transformation.

Launched in March 2026 at the DXC Connect insurance executive forum, the Assure smart app combines DXC’s insurance expertise with ServiceNow’s agent AI and workflow technology to deliver a modular, results-driven solution. Each application is orchestrated through DXC’s Assure platform to support targeted transformation.

These applications are designed to help insurers modernize over time without disrupting core systems or requiring significant investments of time and resources.

DXC says the modular, AI-driven workflow application is pre-integrated with core policy systems and can deliver measurable results in 12 weeks or less. The company notes that insurers can reduce manual processes by 30-40% and shorten cycle times by up to 30%, accelerating their transformation goals.

“By combining ServiceNow’s agent AI and workflow technology with DXC’s deep insurance industry expertise, we are redefining what is possible in insurance operations,” said Michael Park, Senior Vice President of Global Partners and Channels at ServiceNow. “Together, we will help insurance companies accelerate their transformation, delivering greater agility and speed in every process.”

The three new apps launched are Claims Assistant, Engagement Assistant and Underwriting Assistant.

DXC says Claims Assistant unifies the end-to-end claims lifecycle, embedding compliance and audit readiness while eliminating system hopping and manual reconciliation. It can reduce claims cycle times by up to 35%, enabling faster payouts and improving the policyholder experience.

Interactive Assistant modernizes customer interactions across voice, digital and back-end channels by orchestrating digital agents, human agents and analytics. It automates services, improves agent productivity and provides real-time sentiment and compliance insights to improve customer experience by 5-15%.

Underwriting Assistant automatically receives submissions, prioritizes work, and guides decisions through a unified, interpretable workbench, providing a concierge underwriting experience without disrupting existing policy systems.

DXC also showcased the Assure Smart App Studio, a collaborative environment where customers can contribute ideas for future smart applications.
