DUAL North America, a provider of specialised insurance solutions, has appointed Sam Fowler as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Tax to its global Transactional Risk platform in the US.
The appointment aims to add dedicated tax underwriting leadership to the team and extend its specialised offering to clients and broker partners across the US market. His remit includes leading the tax liability insurance.
The appointment follows the recent hire of Terry Enright as SVP, Representations & Warranties (R&W). The firm explained that the North America business runs on two core coverages: representations & warranties.
Both practices sit within DUAL’s global Transactional Risk platform, which spans 11 jurisdictions across North America, Latin America, the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia and New Zealand and is backed by long-term, multi-year capacity from Liberty.
Fowler has a decade of experience in US tax matters, spanning both standalone tax exposures and the tax considerations that arise in M&A deals.
