I love my Always Pan, don’t get me wrong – it’s so pretty and I’m obsessed with the matching lid and slot-on spoon. I even love that it comes with a steaming basket so you can make noodles, pasta, and veggies in it.
Really, the only thing I don’t love about it is the fact you have to wash it up by hand.
After a long day, and whatever meagre attempt I’ve made at cooking dinner, the literal last thing on earth I want to do is stand in front of a sink and hand wash anything.
That’s why I’ve added two new pans to my rotation from Hexclad and Circulon.
Both are dishwasher-safe, induction-friendly, and extremely non-stick – and both have become my go-to when I need a quick meal with as minimal a clean up as possible.
Hexclad comes in at the slightly steeper end of the price range, at £129 (or £109 if you’re buying on Amazon Prime Day). While it might be slightly pricier, it’s definitely worth it, because you get a lifetime guarantee on a pan that’s as smooth as can be.
It has an aluminium core, so it heats up super speedily, while the coating is ultra non-stick, and you can use metal utensils with it, so it’s built to last. I’ve never had a pan make smoother scrambled eggs, and I love that it can get an even sear on veggies.
If you’re not willing to splash out £100+ on a frying pan, though, Circulon is a great affordable alternative.
Usually retailing for around £34, it’s on sale for £28.89 this Prime Day. It’s made from ceramic, so it’s both induction and oven-safe, and comes with that same slippery smooth non-stick surface, making it a great option for getting a good sear on fish and veggies.
If you’re after a new frying pan that can go the distance, both pans are on sale until 11.59pm on 7 October for Amazon Prime Big Deals Day – so you better rush to the checkout.
