Carbon names Rebecca Ince as Chief Operating Officer

Carbon Underwriting Limited, a professional independently managed general underwriter, Lloyd’s Syndicate CBN 4747, has appointed Rebecca Ince as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 5, 2026.

In her new role, Ince will oversee all day-to-day operations at Carbon, including technology, data, operations, compliance and risk teams. She will also play a key role in driving Carbon’s success and executing its growth strategy.

She has 25 years of industry experience, most recently as Chief Operating Officer at Dual International.

Prior to that, Ince spent 18 years at specialty insurance company Hiscox, ultimately serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Hiscox MGA.

The appointment follows a period of solid growth for the company, with premiums rising from £15m to £320m over the past five years.
