Nadine Moore joins global specialty and property insurance and reinsurance company Canopius Group from consulting firm Boston Consulting Group as CEO of its U.S. operations to accelerate growth.
Based in Chicago, Moore will lead the airline’s US operations from September this year and will join the group leadership team, reporting to group chief executive Neil Robertson.
She brings extensive experience in the U.S. insurance industry to her new role and will be responsible for leading Canopius’ long-term strategy in the region, leading its U.S. operations for both its retail and wholesale businesses.
Most recently, she served as a managing director and senior partner at The Boston Consulting Group. Moore is well-known and respected in the industry and, as Canopius highlighted, has the distribution credibility of a placement broker and the profitability understanding of a CFO, along with the operating model discipline of a transformation leader.
She also brings experience in M&A and proven AI program delivery in regulated insurance environments to the new role.
Robertson said: “Nadine is exactly the kind of leader we need to take our US business to the next level. She brings deep market expertise, a strong track record of delivery and outstanding relationships across the industry.
“I am confident that she will play a key role in helping Canopius continue to mature, professionalize and grow our retail and wholesale operations in the United States as we pursue our growth goals.”
“Canopius is a business with huge potential and already has a strong platform in the US. I am excited about the opportunity to grow an already performing business with a team with deep experience and expertise. The ambition in the US is clear and I look forward to helping drive the next phase of growth,” commented Moore.
