BMS launches new Accident & Health division with five senior appointments

Independent insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has confirmed five appointments for its newly formed Accident & Health (A&H) division in London.

The new team will work with BMS’s established A&H relationships to deliver solutions across international markets without geographic or customer restrictions.

James Early joined BMS on 9 February as Managing Director. Previously, he spent 18 years at Miller Insurance Services LLP, where he built and led a team focused on international A&H and cross-category operations. In his current role, Early leads the development and implementation of the department’s long-term strategy.

Andrew Furr joined the company on January 2 from Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions as executive director, international specialties. Furr’s responsibilities at BMS include developing insurance solutions for the specialty sector and complex risk environments.

Kevin White joins from Specialist Risk International on September 4, 2025, bringing more than 20 years of experience in product development across industries. Alexander Cassey joins from Burns & Wilcox Global Solutions on January 2 and has 15 years of international experience delivering customized insurance plans. As division directors, White and Cassey are responsible for building programs designed to address emerging risks and changing operational requirements.

Paige Alston joins BMS on November 13, 2025, bringing seven years of experience from Miller Insurance Services as an Account Processor within the Accident & Health and Authorization teams. Alstom works with clients and insurance companies to provide structured and customized insurance solutions.
