Bishop Street Underwriters, a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, has received a $125 million strategic structured capital investment from White Mountains Insurance Group, Ltd.
Most recently, Bishop Street disclosed in its 2025 results announcement that its total written premiums exceeded $650 million while portfolio losses were below 50%.
Earlier this week, Bishop Street expanded its partnership with AI-powered underwriting solutions specialist Kalepa to support its London-based managing general agents (MGAs), Avid Insurance Services and Landmark Underwriting.
In the fourth quarter of 2025, White Mountains reported gross written premiums (GWP) of $268 million for property and casualty reinsurance unit Ark/WM Outrigger, with a combined ratio of 77%.
