Bishop Street Underwriters, a RedBird Capital Partners portfolio company, announced the appointment of Karman Chan as chief financial officer (CFO).
Chan will serve as a member of Bishop Street’s leadership team and work closely with the CEO and President to drive strategic decisions, anticipate the financial and operational needs of the rapidly expanding business, and build the infrastructure needed to support long-term growth. She will also play an active role in developing strategy across the platform.
Jeff Arricale has transitioned to the role of Chief Financial Officer of Operations, where he will support Chan and the broader finance organization to ensure continuity and support the company’s financial operations.
Chen brings extensive experience leading financial organizations. She served as Chief Financial Officer of Galway Holdings for 11 years, guiding the company through more than 25 acquisitions, as well as multiple debt raises, refinancings and recapitalizations.
She oversees the financial policies and affairs of Galway Holdings’ EPIC Insurance Brokers and Advisors, Galway Specialty Wholesale (GSW) and MAI Capital Management LLC.
