Arrow establishes Marine Insurance Practice led by Wayne Krause

Arrow Risk Management (Arrow), a dedicated MGA underwriting platform, has established a marine insurance business, which will be led by Wayne Krause as Head of Underwriting.

The new business will focus on ocean cargo and logistics-related risks, offering a wider range of ocean freight services including inventory throughput, project cargo and delays in start-up (DSU) and logistics operator/freight forwarder liability.

It will underwrite business globally, leveraging London market expertise and international trade relationships to support SME, mid-market and large enterprise clients across complex supply chains and multiple geographies.

Business will be underwritten through Arrow Hub, Arrow’s MGA platform, and benefit from its operational infrastructure, specialized underwriting support and carrier data capabilities.

Krause has more than thirty years of experience in underwriting and brokering in the international marine insurance market.

Prior to joining Arrow, he served as a freight and logistics underwriting manager at UPS Capital, where he was responsible for portfolio strategy, risk appetite and sustainable profitability across complex risks.

Prior to that, Krause held senior underwriting and leadership roles at Hollard Marine, Marsh, Tokio Marine Kiln, Zurich Financial Services and Aviva Global Corporate & Specialty.
