Mark McGrady will take on the role of new casualty director for Arch Insurance’s UK regional division, with immediate effect, leading underwriting strategy, product development and distribution.
Based in Glasgow, McGrady will be responsible for spearheading the expansion of Arch’s casualty portfolio across its UK regional network, leading the underwriting strategy, product development and distribution of its casualty solutions.
He will report to Stuart Danskin, UK Regional Underwriting Director, who commented: “Mark’s promotion is testament to his proven leadership skills and strong technical expertise, making him a highly respected figure in the market.
“His appointment reflects our continued commitment to underwriting complex casualty business and he will drive growth across our product-led liability portfolio, enhancing our impact by delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions.”
McGrady joins Arch in 2022, bringing nearly two decades of insurance market experience to the new role, most recently as UK regional liability underwriting manager.
Prior to this, he held commercial underwriting roles at Chapman and Stacey Limited, LV= and Aviva.
