Arch Insurance International appoints Fred Bisson as Head of Digital Algorithms

Arch Insurance International, part of Arch Capital Group, a multi-disciplinary provider of specialist insurance solutions, has appointed Fred Bisson as Head of Digital Algorithms, effective immediately. He will lead the development of algorithmic solutions to support digital trading capabilities

In his new role, Bisson will develop and oversee algorithmic solutions to strengthen Arch’s digital trading capabilities on its international platform, covering the London market, the UK region, Australia, the EU and Bermuda.

Based in London, he reports to Steven Perkins, Head of Strategic Analysis. As part of the Strategic Analytics group, Bisson will work closely with the Arch underwriting team, combining algorithmic expertise to develop solutions that better meet brokers’ evolving digital placement needs.

Bisson has ten years of insurance industry experience, most recently as Director of Data Science at Arch. He joins the company in 2024, having previously held predictive modeling and actuarial roles at Allianz Commercial and WTW.

Perkins commented on the appointment: “Fred’s proven expertise in developing advanced artificial intelligence and analytics tools that support informed decision-making across our specialty businesses makes him an ideal candidate for this new role. His leadership will be invaluable as we continue to apply analytics in a way that delivers real value to our underwriters, brokers and clients.”
