Aon plc, a global professional services firm focused on risk, retirement, health and wealth solutions, has appointed Brian Fomby as Managing Director of PathWise North America, part of the firm’s Strategy & Technology Group, effective July 27, 2026.
In this role, Fomby will report to Van Beach, global head of lifestyle solutions for Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group. He will be responsible for leading PathWise’s growth and strategic direction in North America, managing implementation plans, expanding customer service offerings and strengthening key business relationships.
Fomby will also work with its global life solutions team to guide the development and delivery of the company’s actuarial modeling platform, PathWise. The technology is designed to support life and annuity insurers in meeting operational and strategic challenges while increasing resiliency and supporting sustainable profitable growth.

Aon said its Life Solutions business brings together actuarial consulting services, the company’s PathWise modeling technology and life reinsurance brokerage capabilities. This comprehensive product is designed to support life and annuity reinsurers, asset managers, private equity firms and other organizations active in the life insurance market.

Prior to joining Aon, Fomby served as leader of Milliman’s Life Technologies Solutions practice. During his career, he has provided consulting services to insurance clients in North America and the United Kingdom.
