Aon names Adam Reed as Chief Commercial Officer, Enterprise Clients, UK

Global insurance and reinsurance group Aon has appointed Adam Reed as chief commercial officer for UK commercial risk for major, complex and corporate clients, effective September 2026.

Reed will be based in London and report to Rob Kemp, CEO of Aon Commercial Ventures UK.

The appointment is in line with the broker’s aim to strengthen its UK commercial risk leadership team.

In his new role, Reid will drive growth for the FTSE350 and private businesses, working closely with UK Business Ventures chief commercial officer Amy Froude, Dave Kennedy and other leaders across the country.

Most recently, he served as Managing Director of the Large Complex Risk Group at Howden. Prior to that, Reed held senior roles at Marsh and Willis Towers Watson, where he led key client relationships.

Camp commented on the appointment: “Adam joins Aon at a time when more large global businesses are looking to us to help them navigate the changing risk management landscape, whether across different product categories or in increasingly complex scenarios.

“His experience and expertise in leading key client relationships will help bring our services to new clients and expand our service offering to existing clients. I look forward to seeing the impact he will have.”

Reed’s appointment follows the appointment of Michelle Beverley as chief brokerage officer, Amy Froude as chief commercial officer, Lucy Gleeson as head of products and facilities and Chris Scott as head of UK global risk advisory.
