Aon, a global insurance and reinsurance broker and risk advisor, announced the appointment of Kary Trocchia as market leader for the Carolinas, effective August 1, 2026.
In her new role, Trocchia will be responsible for the overall strategy and success of the Aon Carolinas market. She will work closely with venture capital and human capital leaders to drive growth and enhance client service across the region, particularly in Aon’s key industry sectors, including financial services, healthcare and manufacturing.
She has more than 20 years of experience consulting organizations on complex risk challenges and has extensive expertise serving financial institutions and other large commercial clients.
Trocchia has been with Aon for nearly 13 years, holding various senior leadership roles within the Financial Services Group and building strong relationships across the company.
Most recently, she served as head of Aon Financial Services’ Eastern region, leading colleagues across key markets to help clients navigate changing management responsibilities and business risks. Her experience is relevant to the Carolina market, one of the largest and fastest-growing financial services industries in the United States.
Earlier in her career, she worked at ACE Group and AIG.
