Aon appoints Johannes Glasl as Chief Regions & Client Officer

Global professional services company Aon has appointed Johannes Glasl to the newly created position of chief regional and client officer, effective July 1, 2026.

In his new role, Glasl will further drive the development of the broker’s regional positioning, particularly in the North and East regions.

The newly created position is designed to further strengthen Aon’s close ties with clients. Glasl will help shape the company’s strategic development as a member of the German executive leadership team.

Glasl has more than thirty years of experience in the insurance and finance industries and has held leadership roles at MPC Capital, Howden and Marsh.

The broker explained that he had been working for the company for 16 years and was already very familiar with it.

Aon said in a statement, “Working with regions and divisions, he will further strengthen our customer orientation and target growth areas such as retail, logistics, renewable energy and real estate. Welcome back, dear Johannes!”
