Alan Carr Reacts To Celebrity Traitors Season 2 Cast

The TV event of the year is finally here.

On Thursday night, the Traitors castle will reopen its doors to a brand new cast of 21 famous faces, who’ll spend the next few weeks “murdering”, banishing and second-guessing one another, in a bid to try and raise a hefty cash prize for a charity of their choosing.

As you’ll no doubt remember, comedian Alan Carr triumphed in the inaugural series of Celebrity Traitors in 2025, in a jaw-dropping finale that we’re still reeling from almost a year later.

In the lead-up to the show’s return, Alan has been sharing his predictions on how the new season of Celebrity Traitors could play out, telling press at the NTAs last month that Miranda Hart could be a “dark horse”.

“I’m super excited about Miranda Hart because Miranda reminds me a bit of me, and if they make her a Traitor, that is going to be TV gold,” the former Chatty Man host claimed.

He also praised his friend and fellow comic Joanne McNally, claiming she’s a “whirlwind” and “motormouth” who will certainly bring the entertainment, as will actor Richard E Grant, who he claimed would make a “really interesting” addition.

Months earlier, he claimed on the TV Baftas red carpet that he was “so jealous” of the new cast of celebrities taking part in the award-winning reality show.

He added to presenters Amanda Holden and Fleur East that he’d have his eye on Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan.

“And I think Miranda Hart is so clumsy, she might murder herself,” he added.

The Celebrity Traitors will air on Thursday and Friday nights at 8pm on BBC One from 1 October.
