Ted Moynihan named President, CEO of Marsh Management Consulting and Oliver Wyman

Marsh, a global firm specializing in risk, reinsurance, capital, talent, investments and management consulting, announced that Ted Moynihan has been named president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Marsh Management Consulting and Oliver Wyman, succeeding Nick Studer, the new president and CEO of Marsh Risk.

Moynihan will join the company’s executive committee and report to Marsh President and CEO John Doyle. The appointment takes effect tomorrow and he will remain in London.

Moynihan has been with Oliver Wyman for three decades, holding a variety of senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as global head of industries and previously served as global head of financial services.

He has extensive experience in strategic and operational leadership, contributing to the company’s strategy, risk and transformation efforts.

Doyle commented, “Ted has extensive leadership experience and a proven track record of driving transformation and growth in the consulting industry. His deep expertise in advising clients on complex business opportunities and challenges makes him the ideal leader to guide Marsh and Oliver Wyman to their continued success and contribute to our vision of building Marsh into the most influential professional services firm in the world.”
