Talbot Underwriting, a division of AIG, has announced a series of strategic leadership appointments and promotions, moves that reflect its continued investment in talent and the strengthening of the company’s underwriting capabilities.
Mark Ladbrook has been promoted to active underwriter, Syndicate 1183, pending regulatory approval.
The executive has been with Talbot for 11 years, most recently as head of real estate.
Prior to joining the company, he worked at Bowring Marsh for more than ten years, following a decade at Marsh.
Meanwhile, Ollie Richards, who has been with the company for 12 years, has been promoted to property manager.
Richards joined the firm as an associate underwriter before being named class underwriter, his most recent role.
Talbot also announced the promotion of Maria Ribeiro to director of art and coins. Ribeiro joins Talbot from Chubb, where she most recently served as an underwriter. Prior to that, she worked at WTW for nearly four years and Besso for three years.
Dimitra Theodoridou will return to Talbot in February as Head of Finance. During her nearly 20 years at AIG, she held various claims and legal roles at the company.
