Ryan Spettigue joins AIG as Head of Client and Broker Engagement, Australia

Ryan Spettigue has joined AIG as the company’s new head of Australian client and brokerage operations.

Spettigue joins AIG from Chubb, where he held a number of senior underwriting positions.

He joined Chubb in 2014 as a casualty underwriter and subsequently became a workers’ compensation manager in Hong Kong and later a senior casualty underwriter in the Northern Territory Key Accounts division in Australia.

Kathleen Warden, chief culture, engagement and risk executive at AIG Australia, commented on the appointment: “Ryan’s leadership will play a key role in deepening engagement and supporting our partners as we continue to grow and invest in our relationships, while we build on the momentum our team has created in 2025.

“Ryan brings a wealth of experience, a true client-first mentality, and a track record of working closely with brokers to achieve great results.”
