Relm Insurance, an insurance company focused on emerging industries, has announced the appointment of three executives to its leadership team: Becky Vernon as chief legal officer, Henry Paddison as chief operating officer and Shane Doyle as chief underwriting officer.
Vernon and Pattison would be based in Bermuda, while Doyle would be based in England.
The insurer noted that these hires reflect Relm’s continued investment in experienced leadership and Bermuda, expanding its underwriting and operating capabilities to cover innovative and emerging industries.

Becky has extensive experience advising complex businesses in a range of key areas including governance, regulatory compliance, restructuring and cross-border transactions.
She has a background in operational and advisory capabilities, with expertise in supporting organizations during periods of expansion, transformation and heightened regulatory scrutiny.

As COO, Pardison will support Relm’s continued expansion while maintaining operational discipline across the business.
He brings extensive operational and financial leadership experience with a focus on scaling the organization, strengthening execution and aligning strategy with day-to-day delivery.

An experienced underwriter, Doyle has extensive leadership experience in specialty insurance with a focus on technology risk assessment and portfolio management.

Together, the three executives bring experience from a range of global reinsurers, specialty insurers, financial institutions and professional services firms, including AXIS, Zurich, Ariel Re, MetLife, HSBC and leading international law firms.
