PoloWorks adopts DXC Technology’s Assure Commercial & Specialty platform

PoloWorks, a Lloyd’s and London market insurance services company, has expanded its use of DXC Technology’s Assure Commercial & Specialty following the addition of three new Lloyd’s syndicates.

Global technology services provider DXC Technology created Assure Commercial & Specialty as part of its Assure category of products, providing a cloud-native, API-enabled platform with integrated AI and no-code configurability.

PoloWorks uses a modern AI-driven platform to build and scale new groups quickly and efficiently. It also gives new entrants to Lloyd’s the flexibility they need when starting underwriting.

The two parties have been working together since 2023 to modernize the group’s operations through the cloud-based Assure Commercial & Specialty platform, freeing each group from devoting its own time and resources to software management and maintenance.

This approach simplifies setup and removes long-standing barriers to faster syndication releases.

The PoloWorks ecosystem now runs on DXC technology, which scales with each new business expansion, supporting Lloyd’s syndicates, insurance companies and general agents (MGAs) alike.

By using the platform, enterprise groups can go to market in as little as one month, operate with confidence, and gain access to industry-leading tools and capabilities from day one.

Assure provides end-to-end insurance capabilities across pre- and post-bond, claims, financials and analytics, with a high degree of no-code configurability.

Paul Andrews, CEO of PoloWorks, commented: “With Assure Commercial & Specialty, we are able to provide our underwriting syndicate with the technology they need to hit the ground running on day one. DXC is helping PoloWorks provide stability, connectivity, regulatory compliance and secure operations, allowing our underwriting syndicate to focus on their core underwriting business, while also helping us expand our support operations.”
