Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Aon has announced the appointment of Nick Fraccalvieri as global concurrent CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions, effective March 1, 2026.
In his new role, Fraccalvieri will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and execution of Aon’s global concurrent reinsurance strategy and prioritizing ceded concurrent business.
He is also responsible for working with the Aon Venture Capital platform to deliver differentiated value to clients and develop sustainable profitable growth strategies.
Additionally, he will drive the creation of new digital capabilities and talent initiatives to keep Aon’s interim solutions innovative and customer-centric in an increasingly complex and evolving risk environment.
Fraccalvieri will succeed Andrew Laing, who will now focus on his responsibilities as CEO of Aon Reinsurance Solutions UK, a role he was appointed to in July 2025.
During his decade-long tenure as the global leader in temporary reinsurance, Laing played a critical role in significantly driving growth and innovation in client solutions for Aon’s temporary reinsurance portfolio.
Following the transition, Laing will continue as concurrent global chairman of Reinsurance Solutions and Fraccalvieri will retain his role as concurrent CEO of Reinsurance Solutions EMEA.
An industry veteran, Fraccalvieri brings more than 25 years of experience to his new role, including multiple senior leadership positions in regional and international markets.
The executive, who joined Aon in 2023, will be responsible for the company’s temporary reinsurance business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. According to b broker, since then his team has achieved accelerated growth in the EMEA facultative reinsurance space.
