Independent insurance broker Lockton has announced the appointment of Renuka Nar as head of India life and health reinsurance.
In her new role, Nar will lead the life and health reinsurance business in India, focusing on building long-term partnerships, driving customer value, driving market innovation and supporting the continued expansion of the company’s capabilities.
She will report to Sudip Indani, Head of People Solutions and Managing Director, Lockton India.
Nar has more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry and has expertise in building and expanding life reinsurance businesses, developing market strategies, strengthening client and reinsurer relationships and ensuring strong operational delivery.
She joins Lockton from Aon where she was head of India brokerage, life and health reinsurance solutions.
Prior to this, she served as Vice President and Head of Life Reinsurance at Howden Insurance Brokers India.
