K2 Rubicon Specialty, a division of K2 International and K2 Insurance Services, has announced the appointment of Vicky Hayward as Head of Hull Division.
With this new hire, K2 Rubicon Specialty strengthens its marine underwriting capabilities and commitment to the London market, with the company recognized for providing underwriting expertise in maritime, US property and other specialist business areas.
Hayward joins the company with more than two decades of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in ship hull and war underwriting and brokerage.
Prior to joining K2 Rubicon Specialty, Hayward held a number of senior roles in the Lloyd’s market, most recently leading the Hull and War portfolios at Talbot.
She joins Talbot after four years as Hull and War Underwriter at Hiscox. Prior to that, she spent ten years with Marsh & McLennan Companies in various positions, including Marine Hull Assistant Vice President, Marine Hull Vice President and Senior Vice President.
Hayward also actively contributes to wider market initiatives through his work at Hull Joint Council.
