Independent insurance broker Lockton has appointed John Hatton as chief operating officer of its Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) branch.
In his new role, Hutton will lead the execution of our specialty and wholesale strategies, driving profitable growth and operational excellence.
“His appointment reflects our commitment to building a connected, customer-focused organization that thrives on collaboration and operational excellence,” said Lockton’s senior executive for the Middle East and North Africa.
Hatton brings more than two decades of industry experience to the position. He initially joined Lockton in 2023 as Head Professional.
Prior to this, he was head of group insurance at Mubadala Investment Company, a role he assumed after six years as the company’s vice president. He also served as branch manager at Marsh Abu Dhabi for seven years.
