James Pearce joins BMS Cyber team as Senior Broker

Independent insurance and reinsurance broker BMS has announced the appointment of James Pearce as senior broker, cyber, reporting to Daniel Leahy, head of cyber practice.

Pearce brings extensive experience in bringing complex cyber liability, technical errors and omissions (E&O) and cyber property damage risks to the London market to his new role.

He has particular expertise in the energy, marine, transport, construction, technology and other heavy industry sectors.

“His extensive experience will help continue to build and strengthen the BMS Cyber ​​offering for North American and international customers,” a BMS spokesperson said.

Pearce joins BMS from Gallgher as an account executive. Prior to this, he worked at UK insurance brokerage Stackhouse Polish, which was acquired by Gallagher in 2019.

Prior to that, he worked for nearly five years as a commercial claims handler at Lucas Fettes & Partners.
