Fidelis Partnership (TFP), a privately held managed general underwriter (MGU), has strengthened its team with the appointment of Henning Schuemmer as senior marine underwriter.
Schumer will be based in Dublin, bringing with him more than two decades of experience in the maritime sector, including broking and underwriting.
His extensive knowledge of the European hull market and strong customer network are expected to be key assets as TFP strategically expands its EEA portfolio.
The executive joins TFP from Marine Hull, a senior underwriter at Allianz Esa EuroShip GmbH. Prior to that, he was part of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) as Marine Hull underwriter.
Throughout his career, Schuemmer held positions at Junge & Co. Versicherungsmakler GmbH, Georg Duncker Marine Insurance Brokers, R+V Versicherung and the Bradford & Bingley Group.
