Global reinsurance broker Gallagher Re has announced the promotions of Alkis Tsimaratos to president, international, and Alex Ntelekos to head of international products and practices.
In his new role, Tsimaratos will focus on deepening senior client relationships in international markets, matching reinsurance solutions to clients’ evolving needs through Gallagher Re’s international network.
Prior to his promotion, the executive served as managing director of Gallagher Re International Products & Practices. Prior to this, he served as Managing Director and Head of EMEA WS.
Tsimaratos also worked at Willis Re for nearly 17 years in a variety of positions and at AXA Re for eight years.
In addition to his new role, Ntelekos will maintain his regional leadership position in Türkiye and Greece, while overseeing and supporting product and practice platforms across the company’s network.
Ntelekos has been part of Gallagher Re since 2022 and serves as the company’s head of public and private solutions for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Prior to joining Gallagher, the executive spent 11 years at the Bank of England and two years at Willis Re before that.
