Global reinsurance brokerage and advisory firm Gallagher Re has appointed Michael Stankard as UK Casualty Facultative broker.
Stankard has over 16 years of experience in the financial and specialty re/insurance sectors.
He began his career as an Assistant Professional Indemnity Underwriter at Towergate Underwriting Financial Risks before joining HCC International, a specialist insurance company with offices in the UK, Spain and Ireland, as a Professional Indemnity Underwriter.
Most recently, Stankard served as associate director of brokerage at Willis Towers Watson, where he managed the FinPro and network concurrent reinsurance portfolios.
Drawing on its extensive expertise in the FinPro and cyber fields, Stankard develops solutions for reinsurance placements of all complexity, providing clients with tailor-made support.
