Everest Group names Christopher Kujawa as Chief Human Resources Officer

Everest Group, Ltd., an underwriting organization providing reinsurance and specialty insurance solutions, announced the appointment of Christopher Kujawa as executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective January 20, 2026.

Kujawa will report to President and CEO Jim Williamson and will become a member of Everest’s executive leadership team.

He will succeed interim chief human resources officer Gail Van Beveren, who will stay on for a brief transition period to maintain continuity.

Kujawa has more than 25 years of experience leading global human resources functions, supporting transformation initiatives for public and private companies in the financial services and technology-enabled business services sectors.

He most recently served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Conduent Incorporated, a publicly traded global technology and services company, where he worked closely with the CEO and Board of Directors during meaningful organizational change.

At Conduent, Kujawa oversaw the global HR function and played a key role in reshaping the HR operating framework. His work includes modernizing systems, strengthening data and analytics capabilities, and working closely with senior leaders on governance, workforce planning, and corporate priorities.

Prior to joining Conduent, he held human resources executive roles at American Express and Ally Financial, where he supported global organizational effectiveness initiatives and provided leadership through major corporate transformation and restructuring initiatives.

Kujawa holds a master’s degree in industrial relations from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in economics from South Dakota State University.
