Howden-owned DUAL Europe today announced the immediate appointments of Amaury Berhault and Jaume Benajiba as Managing Directors of its European Transaction Liabilities business.
Berhault and Benajiba each have more than 17 years of expertise in transaction liability underwriting. They join DUAL from Acquinex where they served as co-heads of Southern Europe and Latin America and members of the European management team.
Berhault previously led ANV’s Southern European operations, served as head of trading risk at Marsh New Zealand and was an underwriter at Tokio Marine.
Benajiba also led ANV’s Southern European practice and spent more than seven years advising Baker McKenzie, Deloitte and DWF-RCD on M&A transactions.
With a team of experienced underwriters in the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, DACH region, France and Italy, DUAL Europe is dedicated to delivering market-leading solutions for trading risk across the continent.
DUAL Europe’s Transaction Risk business provides insurance solutions tailored to the needs of brokers and clients. These products include warranty and indemnity (W&I) insurance, tax liability insurance, title insurance and contingent risk insurance, designed to protect transactions of all sizes, from complex high-value transactions to smaller M&A opportunities.
