Searchlight Capital Partners, LP, a global private investment firm, has completed the sale of Euclid Transactional, LLC, a managing general agent (MGA) specializing in transactional insurance underwriting and claims processing, to CRC Group, a North American wholesale specialty insurance distributor.
In 2021, Searchlight completed its investment in Euclid Transactional, during which MGA expanded its geographic coverage, distribution and capacity relationships, and increased premium volume.
Adam Reiss, Partner at Searchlight, who led the investment, commented: “As the market-leading platform for the transactional risk industry, Euclid Transactional has consistently distinguished itself through its underwriting expertise and global reach.
“During our partnership, the company has expanded across geographies and solutions and further solidified its position as a trusted partner to customers and capacity providers. We believe that as Euclid enters its next chapter with CRC Group, it is well-positioned for its next phase of growth.”
Jay Rittberg, Managing Principal of Euclid, added: “Today’s transaction is a landmark moment for Euclid Transactional and is a testament to the dedication of our team and the strength of our platform. We are grateful to Searchlight for their partnership and are proud of what we have achieved together.”
“Joining CRC Group will give us access to broader distribution and capabilities, allowing us to continue to provide innovative, best-in-class solutions to our customers and partners.”
