Willis Re, the reinsurance advisory and broking joint venture between Bain Capital (BCIS) and WTW, has welcomed Nick Pritchard to its Bermuda team.
Pritchard has more than 20 years of industry experience in property reinsurance and retrocession underwriting and brokerage. Since arriving in Bermuda in 2009, he has developed long-term relationships with Bermuda’s clients and markets.
He has deep expertise in the structuring and pricing of reinsurance layouts, applying a technology approach to deliver strong results for clients.
Pritchard joins Willis Re from Conduit Re where he served as underwriting portfolio and alternative capital manager, most recently as chief underwriting officer (interim).
Prior to that, he served as Managing Director at Aon and Senior Vice President and Head of Property Treaties at Vantage Risk Companies. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at Neon and Validus Re.
