Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Howden has appointed Chris Aries as general counsel for its US retail brokerage and advisory operations.
In his new role, Aries will serve as primary legal counsel for Howden’s U.S. operations, covering specialty and retail insurance.
He joins the senior leadership team, as part of which he will help guide business strategy, governance and operational planning while establishing a high-impact legal presence for the organization.
With more than two decades of experience in the field, Aries brings deep expertise in guiding multinational organizations to achieve significant growth through strategic acquisitions, large-scale integrations and platform expansions.
He is recognized for translating complex regulatory and operational requirements into practical solutions and identifying pressure points early to maintain momentum and ensure smooth execution.
