AXA XL, the property and casualty division of global insurance company AXA Group, has announced the appointment of Samantha Hazlewood as Head of AXA Group Partnerships and Strategic Account Management at AXA XL, effective February 1, 2026.
In her new role, Hazlewood will oversee relationships with AXA’s most strategic clients globally, promoting partnerships across the group to provide seamless access to bespoke solutions.
She joined AXA in 2012 and has since held a range of roles in business development and partnerships at AXA Group, AXA Partners and AXA XL.
Most recently, Hazlewood served as Global Corporate Director and Head of Utilities and Energy within AXA’s global corporate management team. In this role, she works with all AXA regions and entities to lead business relationships, strategy, growth business initiatives and retention of the AXA Group’s key utility and energy partners.
