Global reinsurer Ariel Re has announced the appointment of Sierra Dietz as property reinsurance underwriter.
Dietz has eight years of industry experience in claims, modeling and underwriting.
She joins Ariel Re after nearly eight years at Sompo, initially as a claims associate, later as a junior catastrophe modeling analyst and most recently as a reinsurance underwriter.
“Her experience and technical background position her well-positioned to support our underwriting strategy and deliver exceptional results for our clients,” said Ariel Re.
Dietz’s appointment follows Ariel Re’s recent updates to its property leadership, appointing Sarah Morgan as head of property and Reed Gaglio as head of E&S property reinsurance, both effective April 1, 2026.
