Global insurance and reinsurance brokerage group Aon has announced the appointment of Fabio Martinez as head of health and talent in Brazil.
In his new role, Martinez will lead the health and people strategy for Aon’s Brazil business, supporting clients in an increasingly volatile, risky, complex and interconnected business environment, while also contributing to the company’s growth and expansion in Brazil.
With over 25 years of industry experience, including the past 10 years at Aon, he has played a key role in strengthening the company’s position in the market and with its customers.
Martinez has held a number of senior positions at Aon, including director of client management and most recently chief brokerage officer.
Prior to joining Aon, he was a principal at Marsh Risk and a partner at Pluricare Health & Insurance.
Earlier in his career, Martinez held actuarial and underwriting positions at Medial Saúde, Cigna Healthcare, Unibanco AIG Seguros e Previdência SA and Mercer.
